Welcome to our Alaskan adventure! After 3,300 miles and five days of driving, we made it safely to Alaska on Tuesday, August 11! Throughout our journey we saw much wildlife: moose, caribou, woodland bison, and Dall sheep; traveled through four time zones, most of which was traveled in kilometers (not miles); soaked up the steaming waters of Liard Hot Springs, and took in the beautiful lakes, rivers, and trees of the northern Rockies.

Backyard Birds
Magpie Stellar Jay Red breasted Nuthatch Boreal Chickadee Recently we have also had a Tree Creeper visiting our birch trees just outside our kitchen window.
